Reassurance ASB Foot/Static Patrols-Walthamstow Bus Hub

Dear Valley Ward Members,

During the shift, reassurance foot and static patrols were conducted in and around the Walthamstow Bus Hub during the busy after‑school period. The patrols focused on enhancing public safety and reducing incidents of anti‑social behaviour (ASB), particularly at school closing time when footfall and youth presence significantly increase in the area.

A consistent high‑visibility policing presence was maintained throughout the operation, providing reassurance to members of the public, supporting transport staff, and acting as a deterrent to potential ASB. No significant issues or disorder were observed during the patrol period, and overall behaviour in the area remained calm and compliant.
